Grand Versailles

In a word, the reception for my daughter’s wedding was perfect. I think most of the two hundred plus guests came up to me to tell me that it was the best wedding reception they had ever attended.

The cocktail hour just blew people away. It was such a nice touch that as soon as the guests came up the stairs or got off the elevator, they were greeted with a glass of champagne. Then I could see the looks of amazement when they saw the absolutely beautiful tables of food. The way everything was set up just exuded CLASS. No one wanted to leave that cocktail hour to go into the reception. I had to personally ask people to please go into the dining room so the wedding party could be announced.

I cannot adequately express to you how professionally I felt your staff served dinner. It was seamless and unobtrusive and the best I’ve ever seen. I received many, many compliments from our guests about their servers. They were warm, welcoming, and a pleasure. The waitress at my table actually came up to me and sweetly asked me to please eat something, brought me a fresh fruit salad and Mesculin salad because she took time to notice that I was too busy talking to everyone that I wasn’t taking time to eat anything. Please give her an extra big thank you from me. I was very touched.

I had nothing but rave reviews about all the food at the reception, but the Viennese Dessert Display was nothing short of spectacular. I think it took everyone’s breath away. It was so beautifully done. The quality and presentation of all the food was superb. Everyone was amazed that that much food for that many people could be so delicious and served so well.

Kathy, I can’t thank you enough for making my daughter’s wedding reception such a wonderful experience. I have heard so many stories about things that can go wrong on a wedding day. I can honestly say that my daughter’s wedding reception was PERFECT. Doing business with you has been such a pleasure from start to finish. I hope that I will be seeing you again very soon.

Little nuances like the way the glasses for the water were stacked, the coat rack, your prompt attention to the temperature and our name on the first and second floor common areas and the friendly cooperation of your workers. The cocktail hour and Hors D’ Oeuvres received name reviews from all our guests; with the food not only delicious but presented in such a magnificent display. Not to be outdone was the Grand Buffet, which was truly “grand”. The food again was delicious and artistically displayed.

Thank you so very much for making our wedding celebration so very special. EVERYTHING was absolutely wonderful.

When we joined our friends and family at the cocktail hour, we were “blown away” with how beautiful everything looked. We were also immediately met with many, many compliments about the overall appearance, efficient, friendly service and the taste and elegant presentation of the hors d’oeuvres. However, we didn’t realize that it was only the beginning! The ballroom looked gorgeous right down to every detail. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their delicious meals and raved about the bananas foster dessert. The entire evening ran so smoothly and we continuously heard compliments. I was a prefect party!

Dear Kathy,

I want to take this opportunity to say what a wonderful job you did helping Steve and I organize and prepare our wedding reception. We had checked out a lot of halls and restaurants in search of the perfect place for our wedding. The Grand Versailles Ballroom appealed to us the most. The room was fancy and the dance floor was larger than others we had seen.

Right from our first meeting with you, we saw that you took pride in your work and that you would be there for us during our special event. We appreciate all the time you spent with us on our initial meetings. We felt that we were in good hands.

Steve and I thought that having a taste test for the families was a wonderful idea. That way we knew what appetizers we should pick for our menu. The chef coming out to introduce himself and shake our hands was really impressive. Speaking of food, everyone LOVED the food at our reception! Steve and I received many comments about the amount of food and the excellent taste of the appetizers and meals. Our compliments to the chef!

Since our wedding, Steve and I have recommended your facility to others who are in search of a place to hold an event. We have happy memories of our wedding reception! Thank again for all of your help to make our wedding reception so memorable!

Dear Kathy,

We wanted to thank you for making September 28, 2002 a great day for us and our wedding guests.

Our guests raved about the cocktail hour, not only were the Hors D’oeuvres never ending, they were excellent. It was the first thing our guests would talk about when they arrived. I thought the displays were just unlike anything I have ever seen at a wedding… just incredibly beautiful.

Dinner was excellent. The servers were excellent. A lot of our guests have told us they have never been to a wedding where the food was so good. Please realize we are talking about a group of people that have been to almost a dozen weddings this year alone. They told us your staff was friendly and the service they received was very prompt. Both Patrick and I were very happy that everything ran so smoothly and that everyone was able to enjoy a great meal and have plenty of time to enjoy themselves on the dance floor.

We can’t thank you enough for the time you spent with us listening to our needs and the effort you put forth to meet and exceed them!

Dear George and Kathy,

I wanted to write to you personally to thank you for the wonderful job you did for my daughter’s wedding reception on December 28, 2002.

From the moment I stepped off the elevator I was in awe. The cocktail area was beautifully decorated, and the display of the food was breathtaking. Although too busy to enjoy the food, my guests all complimented me on the lovely arrangements and the variety. It was a true treat.

But, it was no equal to the feast that awaited us in the ballroom itself. The meal was outstanding, from the soup to the salad entrees. All of my guests were extremely pleased with the meal, both the presentation and the taste. Of course the dessert was the highlight: when the room was dimmed and the Bananas Foster wheeled in, you could hear the gasps.

Personally I am very aware of the level of service at a dining facility, especially at a large gathering such as this wedding. Nothing impresses me more than good service, and I must say I was very impressed. Your staff was extremely professional, above and beyond any I have experienced. Not only were they professional, they were friendly as well. I realize that as the hostess, it was natural for the waitresses to pay attention to the needs of my table. But, it appears that every table was attended to as if they were the only guests in the room. Friends told me of the water glasses being constantly full, of coffee cups being refilled without asking, of every need being attended to without hesitation.

Once again I wish to thank you. Everyone warned me that there is such a big build-up to the planning of a wedding, and it’s over in a blink. I disagree. It is more than two weeks after the wedding, and I am still enjoying it. I look at the pictures and see something I missed; a friend calls and once again thanks me for such a lovely time. My memories will linger forever. Both of you and your entire staff have helped to make these memories such pleasant ones.
